Preparing Your Listing For Professional Real Estate Photography
First impressions are critical in real estate and your photography makes that first impression online. Be sure your listing is picture-ready well before picture day. Click the Download button to download and review our handy PREP guide with your sellers and have them follow it to prepare their home for photography.
BEFORE Picture Day
Vacuum carpets, mop hard-surface floors, dust or wet-wipe window blinds, ceiling fans, light fixtures, lamps, decorative items, etc.
Clear away all clutter and clean counters. Put small appliances away.
Leave the toaster and coffee maker on the counter.
Clean all surface areas, including cabinet fronts, appliances, range hood, sink and backsplash.
Clear refrigerator of all artwork, magnets, notes and cards.
Declutter and unpersonalize.
Clear tabletops and counters of all papers, magazines, books, remote controls and other clutter.
Clean bathroom sinks, tubs and showers, mirrors and glass.
Remove all shampoo bottles, cleansers, razors and other personal grooming items except liquid soap bottles at sinks.
Fold all towels neatly and hang on towel bars.
